Founded by David Mackenzie, an experienced entertainment technology expert, Fidelity in Motion was established to meet the demand for premium editions mastered with the care and attention necessary to maximize the potential of home entertainment. We work with content providers and independent producers to turn their studio masters into beautiful UHD Blu-ray™, Blu-ray™ Disc, and DVD masters. With thousands of titles to our credit, our expertise in video compression, format conversion, and authoring is recognized by discerning consumers around the globe.
With extensive experience in film-to-video and film-to-data transfer, restoration, color correction, image processing, and display calibration, we offer a holistic understanding of the mastering environment. In addition, Fidelity in Motion has advised the consumer electronics industry's biggest brands on all aspects of image integrity and was involved in drafting the UHD Alliance specifications for certifying HDR display devices.
Our meticulous understanding of film and video formats new and old, combined with our own proprietary toolsets, has allowed us to produce definitive releases of acclaimed film and video content. Utilizing the full range of Scenarist Professional applications, we offer content providers unsurpassed project control and the peace of mind that their titles will operate successfully in the field. Our facility is certified by Scenarist LLC for our working knowledge of the 4K UHD and Blu-ray™ Disc formats.
